AKS Water-bound Retrievers Holding Fee & Reservation Policy

We accept a ___________

NON-REFUNDABLE holding fee to reserve a puppy for you. Priority of pick for the puppies is established by the order holding fees were received. The holding fee is ONLY REFUNDABLE in the event the breeding does not take or the gender color you requested in not available (we do not take holding fees on certain “shades” example: white or fox red -unless the litter will definitely have these shades-but as long as the female whelps enough pups, holding fees are non-refundable!)

•We accept the following pay-apps for the holding fees OR to pay the balance of the puppy that is being shipped to another state ONLY!
•In person puppy pickup is CASH only..no exceptions!

1. Venmo, Zelle or Cash-app: if doing buyer protection, pay their fee on your end of the transaction I do not cover it- the fee will be added to the puppy balance if not paid

on your end.

2. Using Venmo or Cash-app:

add $6.00 per $100 paid as that’s the fee they charge me to directly deposit to my account. Their fee will range from $6-$30 depending on the total holding fee amount.
•EXAMPLE: amount to pay when using apps to pay the specific holding fee due:

$100 plus fee $106

$200 plus fee $212
$300 plus fee $318

$400 plus fee $424

$500 plus fee $530

•The remaining balance for the puppy is CASH ONLY and is due on the day the puppy is picked up in person between 7 and 8 weeks old!

•If your puppy is being flown via cargo (8 weeks old) the balance of the puppy is to be paid for in full one week before the puppy is planned to be shipped plus the amounts for: actual flight ticket cost to fly via cargo, vet health certificate, crate, airport fees and paid by bank check, money order, Zelle or Venmo and payment must CLEAR my bank 7 days before the puppy will be shipped..no exceptions!

•If shipping using my very recommended flight nanny all fees will be paid to her directly before the puppy is flown-we will put you directly in contact with her once when know this is the option you’d like to use to get your puppy hand delivered to you at your local airport!

PICKED-UP DAY/TIME:

We at AKS understands you may have to work ect; BUT please make arrangements ahead of time to pick up your new puppy, pups are ready to go at 7-8weeks old, please do not wait last minute to try to take off work etc; pups will be picked up in the order the holding fees were received the week/weekend we set for them to go home, which will be on the week of there 7-8 week birthday.

Unless we are contacted way in advance and arrangements are made, any family that can’t pick up there pup on the dates we set for take home or backs out on their puppy pick-family will forfeit there holding fees {the holding fees can be transferred to another one of my litters only} NO EXCEPTIONS!

•Holding fees: price may vary depending on litter.

1. $100 pre-breeding good faith holding fee guarantees your spot on our list prior to the pair being bred or litter being born.

2. $400 only due once litter is born and enough of the gender/color you reserved is born.

4. Total Holding Fee to hold a AKS puppy: $500- deducted off the family’s choice of puppy prices above, then the remaining balance of puppy is due on pickup.

•If the gender OR the basic Labrador color (black, yellow or chocolate) that you reserved is not born/available-

Your Choice:

1. take a different gender/another color puppy from same litter if available.

2. transfer the holding fee to a future AKS breeding/litter.

3. Refund the $100 holding fee

•Any family that backs out on a puppy once they paid the FULL holding fee amount, the holding fee can only be transferred to another future AKS litter only..non-refundable!
